With five 215 kWh batteries and the BoltOS and BoltEMS, the furniture factory in Hulst makes optimal use of its 3,000 solar panels and wood installation. Thanks to real-time control via the BBox, the company is lowering peak loads and actively earning on the energy market.

Zevij-Necomij prevents grid congestion with smart batteries
Zevij-Necomij, the largest purchasing organization for technical wholesalers in the Benelux, was running into peak loads and risks of intervention by the grid operator. Large-scale battery systems of 215 kWh each were therefore installed at two locations. These systems capture peak consumption and are also used for automated trading on the imbalance market. In this way, Zevij-Necomij combines grid stability with extra income from energy trading.

How does it integrate with my hardware or projects?
BBOLT is designed for open integrations. That means we work with common protocols (e.g. Modbus, OCPP) and links to batteries, inverters and charging infrastructure.
As a supplier, you can build BoltOS directly or integrate the Bbox (EMS) directly. As an installer, you use the BBox to connect and control assets in real time. Our technical team supports you step by step with testing and implementation.
What about security and compliance?
Safety is at the heart of everything we do. BBOLT complies with European directives and supports hardware that complies with PGS-37 and IEC 62933-5-2. Software-wise, we employ security-by-design, encryption and automatic OTA updates.
